(KMOV)-- Investigators have ruled the fire that claimed the lives of two children last weekend is not suspicious.
Jason Gresham, 6, and his sister Sky Gresham, 5, died when they were trapped inside a burning multi-unit apartment building in Roxana, Illinois February 6.
Officials believe the fire started near the kitchen stove. They are calling the incident an accident and say there is no evidence to suggest arson.
Investigators plan to test the stove and other appliances to see if they were working properly.
