(KMOV) – A Webster Groves man pleaded guilty in a crash that killed a trucker in September of 2012.
Matthew Snyders, 46, admitted he was drunk when he hit a guardrail, lost control of his vehicle, and stopped in the middle of I-44 near Six Flags.
While Snyders was stopped on I-44, Joshua Sanders, 34, was driving a semi-truck when he swerved to avoid Snyder’s car. The truck hit the car and overturned, killing Sanders.
Blood tests showed Snyder’s blood alcohol was twice the legal limit.
