Man, reportedly angry from altercation, falls out of St. Louis hotel window

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – A 23-year-old Sioux Falls, South Dakota man was killed after he reportedly fell out of a downtown St. Louis hotel window.
Police said they were dispatched to the Crown Plaza Hotel around 11:00 Saturday night.
Once on the scene, police said they found William Brown, 23, of Sioux Falls, dead on the second level of the outdoor atrium on the north side of the hotel.
Witnesses reportedly told police they had been drinking alcohol and Brown was upset due to an altercation that occurred earlier in the evening. Once back in the hotel room, police said Brown ran toward a window and struck his body against the window, causing the window to shatter. Brown fell through the window, leading to his death.
Homicide detectives investigated the incident and determined there was no foul play.
