Granite City, Ill. (KMOV) – Authorities have identified the woman who was killed when her pickup truck went off the roadway and into Horseshoe Lake on Monday.

Tammy Wall, 45, of Benton Drive, was driving a red pickup truck when it rolled over into the lake and landed on its roof around noon. Two fisherman pulled Wall from the car, but she was pronounced at St. Louis University Hospital shortly after the incident.

Horseshoe Lake is in Madison County, Illinois, near Granite City.

 

No other details were immediately available and it is not known why the vehicle went into the water.
