(KMOV) -- A 7 year-old girl along with her father and three others are recovering after being shot during the 4th of July holiday weekend in Centreville, according to investigators.
Zeric McKinney, 20, was charged in the shooting with five counts of Aggravated Battery with a Firearm.
McKinney went to an apartment complex on the 4700 block of Piggott to get revenge after he got into a fight with someone he didn’t know, said police. McKinney is accused by Centreville police of shooting five people who were outside of the complex celebrating the holiday.
During the incident, the young girl was shot in the buttocks and suffered a broken pelvis, her father was shot in the ankle, a 27 year-old woman was shot in the back, a 31 year-old man was shot in the leg, and a 24 year-old man was shot in the foot, said Detective Sgt. DeMarious Thomas.
All of the victims of the shooting are going to be alright, said Thomas.
McKinney turned himself in to authorities three days after the shooting.
