On Saturday, the victims told police they were in the 13000 block of Washington Rd. to look at a car that was for sale when three armed white males ordered them out of their vehicle at gunpoint. Two of the suspects fired their weapons into the air or ground on multiple occasions. The three victims were released after a female took miscellaneous items and one male suspect took approximately $1,000 from them.

According to the victims descriptions, police identified one of the suspects as Lloyd R. Perkins, 49, from Litchfield, Ill.

Police said they went to the home where the armed robbery took place and arrested three suspects, Truman M. Seago, 50, Brittany R. White, 24, and April R. Barnes, 49. All three suspects are charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit an armed robbery.

When police took the three suspects into custody, evidence from the home led to three different arrest warrants and three separate search warrants being issued.

When police executed one of the search warrants at a home on Corwin St., someone inside of the home started a fire and the Litchfield Fire Department was requested to assist in extinguish the flames. Four people, including Perkins, exited the home. Perkins was taken into custody and charged with armed robbery, aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

According to police, Meghan M. Finley, 29, was also taken into custody after the home was set on fire for a retail theft arrest warrant.

Authorities then searched two more residences and arrested Albert J. Burrington, 41, for armed robbery, aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.  John K. Orzell II, 41, was also taken into custody and is charged with armed robbery.

All seven suspects are being held at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office jail.
