St. Louis, Mo. (KMOV) – Authorities are investigating after a woman was shot twice and a 9-year-old girl was grazed by a stray bullet Saturday night.
According to police, a 26-year-old woman was waiting in her parked vehicle in the 1100 block of S. 14th St. at 9:40 p.m. when she heard multiple gunshots and felt a pain in her arm. Police said the woman realized she had been shot and contacted authorities.
The woman was taken to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to her arm and buttocks. She was listed in stable condition.
Police said the 9-year-old girl was standing inside of the home when a bullet entered the front door and grazed her buttocks. The girl was treated by EMS at the scene and released to her mother.
Police have not released any suspect descriptions.
The investigation is ongoing.
