Tongue in cheek ads try to encourage Chicago residents to visit St. Louis
(KMOV.com) – A new ad campaign is encouraging Chicago residents to go to St. Louis for a “weekend quickie.”
An advertising firm that is working with Convention and Visitor’s Commission plastered the ads over mass transit trains in Chicago. News 4 has learned a large amount of tourists in St. Louis come from the Chicago area.
Many believe the ad campaign is working. News 4 has been told around 10,000 people have visited the ad campaign’s website.
