(KMOV) -- A suspect has been taken into custody after Franklin County Police responded to a stabbing at a home in Gray Summit.
The incident occurred Monday around 11:00 p.m. on Hammer Drive.
Police say the 35-year-old victim was stabbed in the abdomen and leg with a large knife by his mother-in-law's boyfriend.
According to a news release, the victim was in an altercation with his wife when the suspect arrived at the home. The two men began arguing and the victim was stabbed.
The victim was taken to a hospital, his condition is currently unknown.
Police found a hunting knife and other knives at the suspect's home. The suspect is being investigated for first degree assault.
