KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City man is facing four counts of sexual misconduct after prosecutors say he exposed himself and committed lewd acts in public places around town.
Leroy Landum, 33, was charged Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court.
He was arrested Wednesday in the parking lot of a coffee shop. Police say they were conducting surveillance on him because of previous incidents and saw him expose himself.
Court documents indicate Jackson was in direct view of people inside the coffee shop and at a school across the street.
The man previously had been identified as a suspect in four other incidents reported by women in April and May. One of those was in the same place where he was arrested Wednesday.
