ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Two homes suffered significant damage after a fire broke out early Thursday morning in north St. Louis.
Fire crews were called to a fire on Taylor and Maffit around 3:30a. m. to a 1st alarm fire.
One person was reported to live in the lower part of one home but they were inside the home at the time of the fire.
Both homes are considered completely destroyed, with parts of the buildings collapsing in on itself.
Fire investigators are still looking into the cause of this blaze.
This is the second house fire on Maffit in the last week.
