2 Teens charged with stealing guns, laptops from Metro-East businesses

O’FALLON, Ill.(KMOV) – Police have arrested two suspects they say stole laptops and guns from two different businesses in O’Fallon on October 28.

Police said Justin Wegner, 18, and Luke Scaggs, 18, were each charged with two counts of burglary and one count of stealing from a federal firearms licensee.

According to police, Wegner and Scaggs stole two laptops from Tee Time Lawn Care in the 1500 block of Frontage Rd. around 9:30 p.m.

Police said Wegner and Scaggs then broke into the nearby Ron and Jo’s Firearms and Sporting Supply Store and stole multiple firearms.

According to police, officers recovered both the laptops and 13 weapons when they apprehended the men.
