(KMOV) -- The medical examiner has ruled out homicide as a reason for the death of a 2-year-old girl found unresponsive in her St. Louis home.
Police said Jessica Gregorio was found at her home in the 3600 block of Alberta Street in south St. Louis around 1 a.m. She was rushed to Cardinal Glennon Hospital where she later died.
Homicide detectives were also called to the scene. They did not believe this young girl's death was accidental and called it suspicious.
While the official cause of death still has not been determined, the medical examiner has ruled out homicide in the incident. Homicide detectives are not longer investigating the young girl's death.
