(KMOV.com) -- Police are looking for three suspects after a man reported being robbed outside a Mobil gas station in Berkeley, Missouri.

On August 6th, officers were called to the station in the 4400 block of North Hanley for a report of a robbery, just minutes after midnight.  According to police, the victim stated he was robbed and assaulted by an unknown black male.

The victim said he was walking across North Hanley from the Metro Link station toward the Mobil gas station when he heard someone yell "bra, you got some change for a twenty."  The report states that the victim turned around and saw a black male jogging across North Hanley in his direction.

Officers said the suspect caught up with the victim in the southeast side of the gas station parking lot.  The victim reached into his pocket and pulled out four $10 bills.  As he pulled his money out, the suspect snatched the money out of the victim's hand and turned to walk away.

A struggle ensued and the suspect pulled out a black hand gun and pointed it at the victim.  The victim backed off and the suspect ran across North Hanley toward the Metro Link station.  Police said the victim also saw two other subjects with the suspect.

Police canvassed the area, but did not find the men.  Video surveillance from Metro Link security was obtained and shows all the subjects getting on the train.  The suspect and possible accomplices have not been identified.  The Berkeley Police Department is asking for anyone who recognizes the subjects in the pictures to call the department at 314-264-3313 or 314-524-3311.

The suspect who robbed the man is described as a black male with a dark complexion.  He is approximately 6 feet tall with a twisty hair style and 19 or 20-years-old.  At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap.

The other two subjects are described as follows:

Subject #1:  A black male with a heavy build, 18 to 20-years-old, medium complexion and a short afro hair style.  He was wearing a red t-shirt, jeans and a black baseball cap.

Subject #2:  A black male in his late teens or early 20's wearing a towel on his head with a baseball cap over it.

Berkeley police also believe a female pictured with the men may have been involved.
