(KMOV) -- Police are searching for two suspects who were involved in a home invasion late Sunday evening.

According to police, the incident took place around 11:40 p.m. Sunday in the 4100 block of Osceola.

Police reports say a man and a woman heard a noise coming from the back of their home. The two went to check the door and encountered two suspects coming into their home.

Moments after checking the back door, the occupants of the home and the suspects got into a fight. The suspects fled the scene a short time after the altercation.

No one was seriously injured during this incident. The male homeowner did receive a cut to his head but is said to be in good condition.

Police do not have any suspects in custody. There is no information on the description of the suspects at this time.
