BEL-RIDGE, Mo. (KMOV) -- Thirty people were arrested after police raided a home with suspicious drug, alcohol and sexual activity in north St. Louis County late Thursday night into early Friday morning.

The raid took place Friday morning just after midnight at a home listed as a non-profit in Bel-Ridge. The home is located in the 8000 block of Snow Hill Court.

Police reportedly walked in on what the owner of the “Yes We Can Social Club” called a bachelor party. They also say when they served a search warrant, officers found a 15-year-old girl in the house. The woman who rents the home, Carmen Simmons, also says that there were exotic dancers present. Simmons, insists the bachelor party was not related to her charity work, and that she throws other events to raise money for the poor.

However, when asked what charity she donates to and if she has ever given money to charity under the social club’s name, Simmons said no.

“I’m just a poor, low-income woman trying to make it,” she says.

Authorities say St. Louis County police are investigating child endangerment, prostitution, drug, and alcohol activity at the location.

The investigation is on-going. No charges have been issued yet.

Both the St. Louis County and Bel-Ridge Police Department were on the scene. The TACT team, which operates similar to the SWAT Team, was also on the scene of the raid.
