(KMOV) -- Police are investigating a triple shooting that left two dead and one critically injured in north St. Louis City late Tuesday night.
The shooting took place at a home in the 5700 block of Pamplin near west Florissant Avenue around 11 p.m.
Witnesses say the shooting occurred after Darryl Robinson, 23, asked several people on the front porch of the residence if the homeowner's brother was inside the home. He then kicked in the front door of the residence.
When police arrived, Meosha Jordan, 33, was found shot to death on the porch.
Police also found Robinson dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
Another victim, believed to be Jordan's brother, was found shot in the side and hand. He is listed in critical but stable condition.
Police believe Jordan's boyfriend shot and killed Robinson after he began shooting. Police are unsure if the victim's brother was shot by Robinson or if he was caught in between crossfire.
Jordan's boyfriend was not injured during the incident and is not considered to be a suspect at the time because police believe he was acting in self-defense.
The investigation is ongoing.
