(KMOV) -- Cardinals Third Baseman David Freese has been cleared to return from the concussion he suffered during a game last Thursday.
Freese was initially injured when he was hit in the head during a game against the Milwaukee Brewers. He suffered a mild concussion as a result of the injury.
The Post-Dispatch reports Freese is ready to and will work out at Busch Stadium today.
Reports say Freese could return to the Cards lineup as soon as Tuesday night.
