GRAFTON - Closed for seven months, the Grafton Ferry will be back in business just in time to bring tourists to town for the Fourth of July weekend.
The ferry will resume service at 6 a.m. Friday, co-owner Pete Tully said.
"We're excited to bring back and enhance the tourist trade in the city of Grafton," Tully said. "The ferry will bring a significant number of people to Grafton. It is almost an entertainment itself - to take a boat ride on the river and feel nostalgic about being out on it."
