Reward offered in U.S. postal worker robbery in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect who robbed a postal worker in north St. Louis on Wednesday.

Police said the female worker was sitting in a postal truck in the 1500 block of Bremen Avenue around 10:30 a.m. when the suspect approached.

Authorities said he opened up the truck, grabbed a small amount of mail and fled on foot.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities said the suspect was about 19 years old, roughly 5-foot-7 and weighs 140 pounds. Police said he was wearing a long-sleeve white and orange shirt at the time of the robbery.
