ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Two lanes on Hampton Avenue have been closed while crews work to repair a water main break.
The break happened near the intersection of Suson Place. Crews have removed a portion of the roadway so workers could access the broken main. A worker told News 4 they will likely be there for “a while.”
Hampton Avenue has been reduced to two lanes in the area and drivers are urged to be cautious when traveling by the work site.
Last week, crews were working on a water main break between Fyler and Arthur avenues, just down the street. Officials did not say if this most recent break was linked to the one from last week.
