(KMOV) – Authorities with the Illinois State Police have called off a manhunt connected to a suspect who jumped out of a vehicle and went into a wooded area after police pulled him over for questioning.

Around 7:30 Wednesday evening, ISP officials were conducting an anti-meth surveillance operation at a business in or near Hamel, Illinois. The business is known to have large amounts of anhydrous ammonia.
