(KMOV) – Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing an O’Fallon, Missouri Walgreens early Saturday morning just before 5:30.

This happened at the Walgreens at 1490 Mexico Loop Road East.

They say he walked to the pharmacy counter with a note announcing a robbery and demanded narcotic pain killer. 


Police say that the suspect claimed to be armed, and after getting the pain killer, he ran out of the store.


Police say they followed a tip right to the man. 

Charges have not yet been filed and police have not released the suspects name.
