Light bulb glass prompts grocery store grape recall

(KMOV) – The Dardenne Prairie Schnucks issued recall Monday on all its bagged red and white seedless grapes sold between noon on Sunday, Sept 19 and 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21.

The store is located at 3029 Highway K.

Schnucks says that a customer returned a bag of red seedless grapes containing pieces of glass. The store says that the glass came from a light bulb that shattered over a pallet of grapes in the produce backroom order.

This is an isolated incident, and no other stores are involved in this recall, Schnucks says.

Customers who purchased the grapes from the Dardenne Prairie location may return them for a full refund.
