When Ken Williams saw the gunman come into the room and point a gun at him, it was too late to do anything but just cooperate and let the burglars leave. When he approached his mother's house he says he knew something wasn't right. Mud on the front door, a ransacked bedroom, but the gunman appeared too quickly, emerging from the basement when they heard people upstairs.
Woodson Terrace Police Chief Robert Dowling says it's always advisible that if for any reason you think someone is in or was in your home, don't enter. Stay outside and call police by cell phone or from a neighbor's house.
