(KMOV) -- DePaul Hospital filed a restraining order on Wednesday against 26-year-old Teremus Bolden, a man accused of approaching the St. Vincent facility at DePaul with a Tec-9 gun.
Last Tuesday just before 5 p.m., employees at the hospital say they saw a man walking toward the hospital with a handgun. When he started to enter, they shouted that he had a gun and made a call to security. The man then reportedly left the scene in his car.
Employees got the license plate of the vehicle and police traced it to 26-year-old Teremus Bolden.
The handgun Bolden was allegedly carrying is the same type of gun used in the Columbine shootings. A worker at the hospital speculated that the young man could have been upset over his mother's recent death at the hospital.
Bolden is now free on $7,500 bond, but faces charges for unlawful use of a weapon.
