(KMOV) -- A man has been charged in a robbery at the Commerce Bank in Florissant, Missouri.
Thomas H. Bayse, 37, was charged with one count of Robbery 1st degree.
Authorities said a man walked into the bank Wednesday at 8190 North Lindbergh and pulled an orange ski mask down over his face. He then allegedly announced a hold up and demanded money from the teller.
The suspect left the building on foot after he received the cash from the teller. That's when officials say a customer from inside the bank followed the suspect outside and detained him until police arrived at the scene.
Authorities said the suspect was not armed, even though he announced a hold up.
The money taken in the robbery was recovered on the scene.
Bond was set at $7,500.
