(KMOV) -- A football field in Collinsville has a new name to honor a man killed back in January.
"Raiders Field" turned into "Cory Wilson Field" Saturday. Wilson was part of the Collinsville Raiders youth football program since he was young enough to put on the pads.
Wilson was one of three people killed last January when a former employee stormed into the ABB plant in north St. Louis and opened fire. Wilson was a supervisor at the plant, but spent most of his life playing, and then coaching, football.
The hope is that the name on the board will mean something to the next generation of players.
