Two convicts break out of jail only to break back in

(KMOV) -- Two convicts are back in jail tonight after escaping and trying to break back in.

Police said two men cut a hole in the siding of the McDonald County Jail in Pineville, Mo., in order to get out and get some meth.

The two drove back hours later in a stolen truck and set it on fire as a distraction to get back into prison.

Police said one of the men was due to be released this week, but he is now facing another five years for the escape.
