ST. CLAIR, Mo. (KMOV) – Officials say a brush fire that ripped through St. Clair on Tuesday has been contained.
It broke out on Highway TT and Brush Creek Road around 3 p.m.
Officials said the brush fire is 100 percent contained and under control. It burned nearly 25 acres, but no structures were damaged.
Authorities said 30 to 40 firefighters were on hand to battle the blaze. Fire crews stayed on the scene until about 1 a.m. Wednesday in case flare-ups occured.
