Man faces charges stemming from Chesterfield home invasion

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (KMOV) – A 42-year-old man is charged stemming from a robbery and home invasion incident which occurred in Chesterfield on February 17.
Richard James Lynch has been charged with first degree burglary, two counts of first degree robbery, second degree assault, two counts of felonious restraint and four counts of armed criminal action.
The suspect allegedly forced his way into the victim’s home at gunpoint and stole jewelry and personal property from the victims. One of the victims was struck in the head by the suspect and received minor injuries, according to authorities.
Lynch is currently being held in the St. Louis County jail on a $250,000 cash bond.
