(KMOV.com) -- Anheuser-Busch has launched a new digital campaign named "Track Your Bud" to allow Budweiser drinkers to trace the origin of the beer they hold in their hands to one of Budweiser's 12 U.S. breweries, including St. Louis.
In order to track your Bud, you will need to download the free "Track Your Bud" app. It's free and available for iPhone and Android devices. Simply scan a QR code on a pack of Bud and follow the on-screen instructions. Drinkers will be able to watch as the brewmaster responsible for brewing their batch of beer takes them on a guided tour of their beer's production, from ingredients used, through the St. Louis brewery where it was crafted and into its drinkers' hand.
If you do not have a smartphone, you can also track your Bud online at TrackYourBud.com. Enter the "born on" date found on each bottle and you're on your way.
Users also will be able to access video content, collect badges from each U.S. brewery and name batches of beer if they’re the first to register a particular Born On date.
