O’FALLON (KMOV.com) – An O’Fallon man faces four felony charges involving inappropriate sexual contact with an 11-year-old girl in July.
Noel Salazar, 41, is charged with two counts of statutory sodomy and two counts of child molestation.
Police believe the incidents happened in Salazar’s home.
Furthermore, authorities believe this isn’t the only case he’s responsible for.
Police also want him charged for an incident in June, during which they say he was in a store in O’Fallon when he inappropriately touched a 10-year-old and 12-year-old girl.
St. Charles County Prosecutor Jack Banas says he suspects Salazar is in the country illegally. Salazar is originally from Pueblo, Mexico, but Banas says he doesn’t expect that will get him out of trouble.
“He is in this country illegally so if the defendant is convicted he will serve out his sentence and then be deported back to Mexico as soon as he gets out,” Banas said.
Salazar is in jail tonight on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
