DALLAS -- The Dallas online fashion editor who lost her left hand and eye when she walked into the propeller of a small plane says she’s no longer hurting.
In a Thursday interview on NBC’s “Today” show, Lauren Scruggs says some days are hard emotionally but spiritually, she has “learned to live by faith and not by sight.”
The 24-year-old was injured after walking into the propeller of a small plane after taking a flight to view Christmas lights in December. She and her family tell the story of her accident and recovery in her book, “Still Lolo,” to be released in November.
She told NBC she’s gained a new life perspective and wants to use her “message of hope and healing to inspire others like others have inspired me.”
