Free printers, appliances at local non-profit back-to-school sale

ST. LOUIS (KMOV)—A local non-profit organization is holding a back-to-school sale, giving away televisions, appliances and computer accessories for one weekend only.

WITS Inc. is holding a “Free’ Sale, giving away small appliances, printers, music equipment and more. Everything is recycled or donated and is considered to be in good working condition. They also have larger televisions, computers, and laptops for sale.

The sale takes place August 10 – 12; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. WITS Inc. is located at 643 East Holly Avenue near I-70 and Broadway.

WITS  also known as Web Innovations & Technology Services, is a non-profit donation-based organization dedicated to recycling inbound broken items, reselling working items to individuals who might not otherwise be able to afford them, and giving away holiday computers to low-income individuals/families.

They also have a zero landfill policy by recycling everything they cannot sell or reuse for parts.

WITS also offers training in many areas for students of all ages and capabilities for internships and resume experiences and the chance to teach their skills to other students with hands-on experiences.
