Gun stolen from Public Safety directors vehicle

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – The head of the Missouri Department of Public Safety had his gun stolen while he was in Forest Park.

Director Jerry Lee was visiting a memorial for the BackStoppers near the Art Museum when someone busted the door lock to his vehicle to take a pistol.  A GPS and two Public Safety badges were also taken. 

Lee is a former St. Louis County police chief.
