(KMOV) – A woman was sentenced to two years probation after she threatened to blow up a building following her firing from a St. Charles business.

Ashley Lamora, 28, pleaded guilty last week to a misdemeanor count of harassment. She was initially charged with making a terrorist threat, but it was lowered.

Police said Lamora was an employee at Reliant Repair Protection, located at 2510 S. Old Highway 94, when she showed up late for work one day in August.

Authorities said Lamora and her boss got into an argument and she was fired for insubordination.

She then threatened to blow up the building, which contained about 25 workers when the threat was made.
