(KMOV) – Two families were looking for a place to stay after a fire ripped through an apartment complex in the Central West End Monday afternoon.
According to officials, the fire started in the attic of two units of a two-story apartment building in the 4300 block of Laclede.
No injuries were reported, though the two apartments sustained substantial roof damage.
It was not known where the displaced families were planning to stay overnight.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
