(KMOV) -- The St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program (HELP) will host a medical equipment donation drive at nine area locations on Saturday.
The program takes in donations of new and used home medical equipment, then loans this equipment to individuals in need for no cost.
St. Louis HELP accepts most assistive items, such as manual/power wheelchairs, scooters, canes, walkers, shower chairs, tub transfer benches, grab bars, portable commodes, seating cushions, back supports, lift chairs, van lifts, electric hospital beds and ramps. The program does not take donations of oxygen and medication.
St. Louis HELP is a non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
Saturday's donation drive runs from 9 am to 2 pm at the following locations:
