Diehard Chicago Cubs fans have been dreaming for years to see their team win the World Series, something that’s escaped the franchise since it won the title 1908.
Some of those fans continue to blame the long draught on the “Curse of the Billy Goat.”
Six Cubs fans were determined to break the curse, and have been trekking towards Wrigley Field in Chicago from Arizona since February 25, Ron Santo’s birthday.
The kicker: they’re making the walk with a goat named “Wrigley” they bound on Craigslist.
The group (which is now down to five because one of the men stopped due to injury) is expected to arrive at Wrigley around Memorial Day.
