GRANITE CITY, Illinois (KMOV) – A Granite City man is accused of beating a man and licking his blood of his own hands in an effort to destroy evidence, according to prosecutors.
Shade Voltair Connor, 34, was charged with aggravated battery and obstructing justice after he allegedly punched Ryan Moylan in the face and head on April 8.
Prosecutors said he then used his tongue to lick the victim’s blood of his hands in order to destroy evidence. He was arrested and taken into custody.
Police said when Connor was arrested he was wearing clothing associated with the Illinois Nomadic Hells Angels motorcycle gang. Police seized a vest he was wearing at the time, along with a pin worn around his neck. They also took other alleged gang contraband, including two rings police say Connor was wearing during the incident.
Connor posted $3,500 bond and recently made his initial appearance the Madison County Criminal Justice Center in Edwardsville.
