ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – An off-duty police officer was hospitalized and another person taken into custody following a two-vehicle wreck in south St. Louis on Thursday.
Police said the off-duty officer was driving a Jeep Liberty when she was t-boned by a Ford Explorer near the intersection of Loughborough and Gravois just before 3 p.m.
The officer was transported to the hospital in fair condition.
Witnesses said the driver hid something from her car after the wreck. She was taken into custody.
It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck.
