Police: Man steals $2,000 worth of parts from St. Peters auto shop

ST. PETERS, Missouri (KMOV) -- Police are asking for the public's help finding a man who stole several automobile parts from behind an auto body shop in St. Peters.

According to police, the man stole over $2,000 worth of parts from the shop in the 1st block of Algana Court around 7 p.m. on March 10.

Surviellance cameras captures the suspect earlier in April when he returned to remove more items from behind the business.

Police describe the suspect was between 35 and 50 years old. He has a heavy build with dark hair and a mustache.

According to police, he was driving a late model white truck with a camper shell and a chrome fuel cap on the driver's side.
