(KMOV.com) -- The Southwest Airlines terminal at Lambert Airport was evacuated Thursday morning after someone pulled a fire alarm.

An airport spokesman said the fire alarm was pulled around 10 a.m. in Terminal 2.  Passengers evacuated the terminal when the alarm sounded.  It was later determined that the alarm was false and passengers were never in any danger.

Passengers who evacuated the terminal report they have to be re-screened before they are allowed to re-enter the terminal.  Airport officials said this is the standard process when people leave the secured area.  They also report that the process is moving quickly.
