NEW ORLEANS -- Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis had an electronic device in his Superdome suite that had been secretly re-wired allowing him to listen in on visiting coaching staffs for nearly three NFL seasons, according to an ESPN report citing anonymous sources.
The U.S. Attorney's Office acknowledged that they have been contacted regarding the allegations.
Greg Bensel, a spokesman for the Saints, told KMOV sister station WWL-TV that the allegations were "ridiculously false."
Bensel added: “There is no evidence supplied by this reporter for this story when we asked for it. This is 1000 percent false.”
