(KMOV) – This holiday season when you get that new TV or computer, have you thought about what you’re going to do with the old one?
Consider donating to Mers Goodwill.
“Whether it’s computers or TVs or small household things that people are looking to donate, we try to find ways to reuse those or recycle them and keep them out of landfills,” says Mark Kahrs, VP Retail Operations for Mers Goodwill.
Items that still work will be placed in the stores for reduced prices, and Goodwill will accept electronics donations every day. Even better, there is no charge for electronics recycling, and those who donate will also get a receipt for a tax deduction.
