(KMOV)-- One man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in St. Charles County in April.
Myron Kimble was arrested Tuesday around 12:25 p.m. at the St. Clair Square Mall after exiting a vehicle and attempting to escape officers on foot.
Kimble was wanted on outstanding warrants relative to the robbery at the Currency Exchange in the 5800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King.
He is being held in St. Clair County at this time, with extradition pending.
The original incident occurred April 12th at the Park Ashwood Apartment Complex. The victims said the suspects knew the 29-year-old victim worked at The Currency Exchange.
The suspects said they wanted money from the store. The victims were put in two different vehicles, one being the suspect vehicle and the other being a vehicle that belonged to a relative of the victims. The suspects then drove the victims to The Currency Exchange. Once at The Currency Exchange, one victim was forced to unlock the doors to the business and the suspects took cash and lottery tickets from the store.
Authorities said both victims were then driven by the suspects to an alley in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood, where the suspects left the car that belonged to the family member of the victims as well as the keys to that vehicle. They let the victims out, then the three suspects drove away in the suspect vehicle. The victims retrieved the keys to their relatives’ vehicle, got into the vehicle and then drove to the Pine Lawn Police Department to report the crime.
