(KMOV) – Many retailers are feeling optimistic after seeing bigger Black Friday crowds this year. Stores certainly pulled out all the stops to get shoppers in the doors.
Retailers like Old Navy, Sears and Toys ‘R Us opened on Thanksgiving and stayed open all night.
Another good sign for retailers – shoppers who can afford it are buying more non-essential items like jewelry and luxury goods.
And more shoppers seem to be paying with cash or debit cards, and leaving the credit cards at home.
News 4’s Ray Preston was out with the Black Friday shoppers early this morning, and has more of this story.
