(KMOV) -- Crowds lined the streets of downtown St. Louis for a very soggy Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Dozens of local high school marching bands and floats made their way from 4th and Washington to Market Street and down to 14th Street to celebrate this annual event.
The high school marching bands competed in a Battle of the Bands competition. The Belleville East High School Marching Band took home first place. Collinsville took home second place, Alton third place, Lindbergh fourth place and Windsor fifth place.
Lindbergh received recognition for Outstanding Drum Major and Outstanding Percussion. Belleville East was named Outstanding Axillary.
