(KMOV)-- A man was rescued from his sinking car on St. Peters Parkway in Harvester Wednesday morning.

Authorities say around 11:05am Randy Mardis’ vehicle went off St. Peters Parkway into about six feet of water.

Paramedics Jeremey Hollrah and Beau Lewis returning from a call saw Mardis’ 1990 Volvo beginning to sink off the side of the road. The paramedics used rescue rope from the ambulance and waded into the water.

Two bystanders also assisted the paramedics.

Mardis didn't require any medical treatment at the scene.

No reports of any injuries.
